Over the last few years I have become a fan of 'Motorpsycho'. They are prolific and are all over the map as far as their proggy trippy sound...from a newer one in 2020

Interesting song.....had not heard of them. They did not make Prog Rock Archives for some reason...maybe not prog enough?... though they remind me of an American version of Wishbone Ash.
They were from Deer Creek Indiana which is only an hour or so south-east of where I grew up and live now. In 1974-5 when their lp came out I was living with my wife in Bloomington IN at IU and finishing my Optometry degree.
Link to a short piece on them on Indiana Music Encyclopedia ( I know the guy who started the online Indiana web site on state bands....he used to own Irvington Vinyl in Indianapolis)

RedSG's post above made me think of this band...a favorite obscure prog jazz fusion band (from Greece originally)...hard to find.
Axis- 'Waiting a Long Time' (1973)

It's interesting that Axis was from Greece. AXAS had their album re-released on a label from Greece. Broken Dreams 45th Anniversary Edition (double CD) on CD and LP. One CD is live and the other is studio. They are on YouTube.
