Ok, so I have not posted in several months. This is going to be a whopper but I know this crowd gets results: I got handed an old cassette tape recently to transfer to a cd. She told it was a recording of the Beatles. I don’t know if it is a compilation or just a straight copy of an entire recording. Either way, she wants me to put to the song titles on each track. Only thing is, I know nothing of the Beatles. And further more the bands on the second side sound nothing like them.
So, I am going to list the track no, a phrase or two from the lyrics, and anything thing else helpful and ya’ll need to tell me the title. I don’t know anything much of rock music: I am a gospel, classical, jazz and new age guy. Here I goes:

Side A:

01 Has a harmonica intro. Starts off with “love love me to…you know I love you” and this phrase gets repeated a lot.

02 Starts off with several non-sense syllables followed by “if there’s anything that you You want if there’s anything I can do

03 Starts off with (I think!) “She loves you, yeah yeah”

04 Starts off with “Oh yeah I will tell you something I think you will understand”

05 Has the phrase “I’ll buy you a diamond ring if it makes you feel alright”

06 Starts off with “it’s been a hard days night and I’ve been working like a dog”

07 Starts off with “baby’s good to me she is happy as can be”
08 Starts off with “oohh I need you love babe guess you know it’s true”
09 Starts off with “ I think I’m gonna be sad”
10 Starts off with “help I need somebody help not just anybody”
11 Starts off with “yesterday all my troubles seems so far away”
12 Starts off with ‘gotta a good reason for taking the easy way out”
13 Starts off with ‘try to see it my way do I have to keep on talking”

14 Can’t determine the beginning cause I can’t understand a word! However some Where in the first few lines is the phrase “based on a novel”

15 Starts off with “in the town I was born lived a man who sailed to sea”
16 Starts off with “I look at all the lovely people” 2x

17 Can’t understand a word…but there is the phrase “portrait of the queen” I think

18 Has a brief horn intro and the phrase “love love” is repeated
19 Starts off with some like “I say no you say stop”. This track could be missing the Intro tho.

Side B:

20 Has a piano intro with the phrase “how do you makes ends meet” I think…

21 Has no real intro…just vocal starts and then the line “sad song and make it better”

22 So this sounds like it starts off with “Jojo was a man who thought he was a loner”

23 Now this doesn’t sound like the Beatles. The phrase “trying to get to Holland from france” is the beginning.

24 Slow song…starts with “something in the way she moves”.

25 This is the oddest yet: some odd intro then something about “flat top grooving up slowly”

26 Nice piano intro..”when I find myself in times trouble Mother Mary comes speaking” I think is the first line

27 No intro…phrase “the long and winding road” starts it off.

There you go. If you need to hear the track I can email it. I know this is a lot but Idk enough about the Beatles to do it myself.:uh:

For future reference,
if you post some words of the lyrics in Google you will find the song :)
There are also webpages for lyrics.

Is it true that Macca heard this song in a dream but without the lyrics and instead of Yesterday sang Scrambled Eggs??? Or did I dream this bizarreness lol

He dreamed the song and woke up thinking he must have heard somewhere. So, he asked everyone he knew if they ever heard the song. Nobody did, so he gave it the working title of "Scrambled Eggs."

Scrambled Eggs~Paul McCartney And Jimmy Fallon

If you want to see a visual, you will have to look it up on YouTube, because they disabled it for use on other websites.
