Paul McCartney and Wings on Rockshow, from 1976, is being shown on BBC 4 tomorrow Friday 5th July from 9:00pm. It says 'new' so it may not have been shown on TV before, but is from Seattle on the Wings Over America tour.

On the same evening, BBC 4 are also repeating the Wings Over the World and Please Please Me documentaries as well as the Sings the Beatles compilation. All are worth watching if you are a fan. I don't know if these are available outside the UK.

For me, this catches McCartney at his peak, in my opinion.

My only complaint was the amount of common content that appeared in both "Rockshow" and "Wings Over The World" - even down to the credits.

Apart from that, it was a great couple of hours!

This coming Friday (12th July) BBC 4 has two music documentaries, When Albums Ruled the World and The Joy of the Single. Both are repeats so I may have seen them, but I cannot rmember the content.
