Paul mccartney announces new album ‘my valentine’

Paul McCartney will release his brand new album titled ‘My Valentine’ on Feb. 7th, 2012.

The album will feature romantic ballads, originals and covers. McCartney described the album as such: “This will sound like the years between 1920-1940,” he said, ”these are songs I heard. My family, my uncles, everybody sang.”

I'd prefer a rock album...but I'll check it out. I know these songs are special to him...plus if it's done right - and I'm sure it will be...it would be good.

I know Rod Stewart did something like this already...and some people crucified him...but, it really wasn't that bad...but, I think he might of done one too many standard albums, imo. I agree with Mr. Bob saying he might of milked it a bit.
