Original Versus Cover: Which version of The Ship Song do you like more?

Here's a song where I heard the cover first and loved it but also ended up loving the original just as much. Both have their own unique qualities by two rough around the edges rock vocalist. The song is just a powerful beauty no matter how you look at it but which do you prefer?

As you can see from my avatar I'm a bit of a Nick Cave fan so even though Lissie does a very fine rendition I voted for Nick & The Bad Seeds. I have to say Lissie has a great voice! As you say Sooty, it's a beautiful song
