Two questions: were Spirit big in the US and what is Burton Cummings solo work like?

Spirit is more of a cult band in the U.S. They have two songs that get played a lot on "Classic Rock" radio, "Nature's Way" and "I Got a Line on You". The only Burton Cummings solo song I remember is "Stand Tall". BTW, I voted for Spirit.
