My Review of Motorhead's Ace Of Spades

Most Heavy Metal fans know of Motorhead. This remains one of my favourite Motorhead releases. Also my favourite lineup of the band with Lemmy on Vocals and Bass,'Fast' Eddie Clarke on Guitar and Philthy Animal Taylor on drums. Well back to the album. This album is Classic Old School Metal at it's best. From the opening title track to the fast driven song The Hammer. This album still remains in my regular Motorhead rotation. Motorhead had an edge to them in there early albums. Ace Of Spades is the classic lineup shining at it's brightest IMO. There influence on Heavy Metal can still be heard even to this day. This album flows the right way. The Motorhead way. Nothing complicated nothing technical. Just plain flat out rockin'. This release contains classic Motorhead tunes as (We Are) The Roadcrew, Ace Of Spades, Jailbait, Love Me Like A Reptile.

My rating is 9 Ot Of 10

Every single metalhead should know who Motorhead is. Like it or not is irrelevant, they should know their history. Great review, Ace of Spades is an absolute metal legend album. I love all of this CD.

Yeah, this one krept up on me because there was so much good music to go through that year. That said, this album kicks ass.

I'm glad there are fans of the album. Been Motorhead fan since 1986 when I discovered this LP in my uncles album collection
