Mostly Autumn are a British prog band, formed in 1996. They already have 8 studio albums, with a range of influences varying from Genesis to Pink Floyd, even Lord Of The Rings! However, their latest albums have a subtle metal influence, with elements of rock opera too.

They currently have two lead singers, Bryan Josh and Heather Findlay, and they have survived many changes of personnel, including 6 different drummers!

Their most popular song, Evergreen:

And my personal favourite, Fading Colours:

Had to read up on this group and discovered that Heather Findlay also worked with Ayreon, I knew I have heard her voice before. I like Ayreon, btw.

Heather is a very talented vocalist, musician, and songwriter. I think I am going to start with the 2nd album release "The Spirit of Autumn Past", which contains "Evergreen" and their popular release from 2006 "Heart Full of Sky".

I really like that album, Sal. I have listened to it once now and more than likely will listen to it a couple more times. "Fading Colours" is definitely one of the gems of the album.

:bump:

Heather Findlay has announced she's leaving the band! She's going to work on her solo career while Olivia Sparnenn will take her place in the band.
