Released in 2006, they were a part of NWOBHM, currently very rare, I had to get this album from Italy.

My friend as he likes to describe them as "good band with wrong vocalist".
Love the guitar sound though.

I bought Mythical & Magical about 5 years ago and yeah I love that album and Pagan Altar in general.


EDIT : I bought it when it came out..I guess it was sooner ago then I was thinking.

Pagan Altar seem a fair band, Im in agreement with your friend Nolo, the vocalist doesnt quite do it for me, but as you say theres some neat doom guitar riffs here and there . Never the less this band seem to be getting a lot more interest of late than they did in the NWOBHM days .

Essential influence on both NWOBHM and doom metal, more so, along with Witchfinder General.
