LID was Eric Wagner's (Vocalist with Trouble) first post-TROUBLE project, also featuring ANATHEMA guitarist Danny Cavanagh. When this was recorded in 1997 there was very little acclaim and the album didn't sell very well at all. I believe that it was mainly Trouble fans that purchased it.

Eric moved in a slightly different direct with this album yet his voice remains unmistakingly Trouble, as with the trouble albums there was a cover version on the album (Randy Scouse Git - The Monkees) and another on the 2002 reissue.

The album did lack the "heavy" side of a TROUBLE album....but still remains good listening with Wagner in good form :grinthumb

"Lid"...:hm:...the only Lid I am familiar with gentlemen was a slang term for scoring some pot...a Lid would be an ounce in todays vernacular I guess...:heheh:

Anyway back to the band, didn't own any Trouble albums, and never heard of them until today Sweaty.

Do you happen to know what kind of ale Wagner prefers?...:grinthumb
