KISS To Perform On 'Dancing With The Stars' - Mar. 16, 2012
According to the Las Vegas Sun, KISS will perform two songs on the April 9 episode of of ABC-TV's "Dancing With The Stars".

As previously reported, KISS will also be the musical guests on the Tuesday, March 20 episode of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (which will actually air the morning of Wednesday, March 21). Check your local listings for details.

KISS has completed recording its new album, "Monster", for a late spring release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "It's A Long Way Down", "Back To The Stone Age", "Shout Mercy", "Out Of This World", "Wall Of Sound" and "Hell Or Hallelujah".

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley recently admitted that he's never surprised by how deep KISS' fan devotion continues to run worldwide. "It really for me, resoundingly once again, I guess validates for me why this band exists," he told The Pulse Of Radio. "It's not a tepid recreation of the past, it's really an ageless beast that dominates at will. It's timeless."

I fail to understand the entertainment of this show. Dancing + celebrities + judges = mediocre generic TV crap for people who choose to not use their attention spans when viewing a screen. Anyway, I'm sure KISS fans will get a hoot out of this.

I didn't know they were still putting out (hardy har-har), makeup and all? It's admirable to see a band from an era long ago still rocking out today.

Dancing With The Stars draws a HUGE audience. It was only a matter of time before KISS *ahem*Gene wanted to get a piece of it. Is it really that much of a surprise? :heheh:

Yep, that's people for ya. It doesn't take much to impress or hold their attention. I feel that any of us can come up with a hit show and that's what I'm displeased with. I'm not entirely sure if money comes into appearing on this show or if there is any financial gain by the end of it but if there was, I wouldn't be surprised. I'd like it to all be for fun but money plays a big role in why people are even interested in being a part of a show.

Why should anyone be surprised that a band who created a whole massive industry around themselves ranging from Kiss Bubblebath and Kiss Lunchboxes to Kiss Steering Wheel Covers and even Kiss condoms, would want to grab a slice of the booming ballroom dancing market audience? Good luck to them I guess!!!

Oh, this was my absolute favorite and I'm not a KISS fan. Not to mention the godly guitarist of Pantera - Dimebag Darrell, requested and was buried in this very coffin.
