I know I'll probably be kicked to the curb for saying this, but KISS never did anything for me, mainly because of their stage personae. I know it sounds lame, but for me it's all about the music, and while KISS may have made good music, I never took the time to listen for it because they were pretty obviously about the show. Most of the time, in my experience, that sort of thing tends to be a covering for lack of talent, abilities or ideas.
I'm not saying KISS suffered from those shortcomings - only that the whole package they presented put me off to the point where I never took them seriously.

Give them a better try Craig. Over 30 albums. Lots of variety. No stage show on a record or CD and they sold a couple of those.
You might find one or two tunes in the bunch you MAY enjoy. If not then it's just not your style but they are far from being the first or only act to have theatrics equally important as the music.
This guy likes them so that should count for something.

Would love to but as of now we're not going - but I could be getting my hands on a couple of tickets for free if I'm lucky... would be a great trip with li'l flip for sure.
There's a cheap bus+ticket thing going there so might just pay for it if I have to... we'll see early June. Probably wouldn't be the worst tour to catch them on

im so excited! I'm going to them live at Frontier days, The most prestigeous rodeo out there, and it is in wyoming. it is going to be awesome! when you look to see where they are going, its funny cuz it is an international tour and they play in really nice sportscenters and etc. and then they come to a rodeo, and it doesnt fit in. but if you live in colorado, nebraska or anywhere close to cheyenne, wyoming you should come and check it out!
