Well Sabbath/Ozzy and Metallica have I believe sold a combined 200 million albums worldwide, which actually is about the same number as the Stones have, so okay they may both be a “joke” to him, but clearly there’s a lot of people out there with quite a sense of humour!

And this from the life-long junkie who mixed his own dead father’s ashes with cocaine, and snorted them….so who really should we all be laughing at more? – Sabbath/Metallica, or the crack-head with his own dad up his nose??



Of course he's right about rap, but then again that's no surprise either, and will they even care? - I doubt that too many rappers out there are aiming their music/message at wrinkled old guitarists heading towards 80 years old.

Agree. He's really gone crazy. One of the greatest guitarists ever, but not one of the greatest minds.

Another example of his idiocy is the words he used to bash on rap. Its the easiest target for many people these days. I hate modern rap but not all rap to me is on the level of Kanye West garbage.

According to Billboard, MH, the Stones are at around 200 million sales, behind Pink Floyd (250 mill) and about the same sales as Queen, AC/DC, and Abba – according to them the only artists to clock up 300 million + are the Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Elton, Zeppelin, and Madonna.

But that’s Billboard talking, and not me, so you may well be right MH!

I used to really love the Stones before they just became a sad parody of themselves which they are these days, with their repeated endless greedy/grasping ‘Give Generously To Four Poverty-Stricken Old Age Pensioners World Tours’ (around $400 bucks a ticket) - and with them basically never knowing when to quit.

But I can’t think of too many things more laughable than some old guy trolling on the web bitching about other musicians….it’s pretty funny to be honest as all KR is doing here IMO is making himself look/sound even more comically and chemically/alcoholically wasted than he usually has done for the past 40 years, which is saying a lot.



He was good in 'Pirates of the Caribbean' though.



And I don’t know about him doing this to try to promote his new solo-album and to get people interested in it, the last one he made about 25 years ago sold about 19 copies, so I dunno maybe he is?
