Jon Lord Battles Cancer



Former Deep Purple keyboard player Jon Lord has revealed that he’s fighting cancer.

In a message on his website, the celebrated keyboard master says:

“I would like all my friends, followers, fans and fellow travellers to know that I am fighting cancer and will therefore be taking a break from performing while getting the treatment and cure.

“I shall, of course, be continuing to write music — in my world it just has to be part of the therapy — and I fully expect to be back in good shape next year.

“God bless and see you soon.”

My thoughts exactly. If ol' Lordy is feeling so confident about this then I think it's very likely that he's in a best case scenario situation as far as cancer is concerned.

But at the same time Ronnie was confident that he was going to get better in no time too...
