If he were still writing music today...it'd be amazing what things he would sing about. Truly an amazing songwriter.

One of the greatest musical talents! I was only ten at the time, and not particularly a Beatles or Lennon fan (that would come years later) but when he was murdered I remember feeling really upset and left with a strange kind of empty feeling.

He was always my favourite Beatle

^^I walked in late after playing in a five-a-side football tournament and it came on the 10 0' clock news, I remember feeling really gutted. What a loss.

He's my biggest idol. I cannot express in words how I love John's work, with Beatles and later. Altho he fought for peace so strong, he had darker side where he ignored his son from first marriage, Julian and his ex-wife Cynthia because Yoko manipulated him so much. He was music enigma that happens once in every million years...that's why music were crappy in 80s, because John died.
