I have to have to admit that at first I was thinking that it is pretty convenient to blame a dead guy for a "murder" of a famous person in your up coming book. Especially a "murder" where there is absolutely no evidence of any foul play .

But then I remembered how above reproach roadies are :heheh:

I'd be the first to admit that some conspiracy theories are plain silly while some aren't if you bother to do the research and weigh both sides of the argument.

I remember this guy I use to work with years ago who said on a few occassions that the CIA took out Jimi Hendrix which to me didn't make sense being Jimi wasn't known to be a radical say like John Lennon. Though more recently have read that Hendrix was involved with the Black Panthers towards the end of his life.

Anyway below is a pretty interesting documentry claiming that he was murdered :

Also here's a interesting book to check out where some of the theories are more plausible than others :

Wow ,those were amazing ..thanks for sharing these...
I would like to read this book too

I've read a few in regards to John Lennon's murder too...

It's chilling and disturbing that the goverment would be involved in such things , but naive to not consider the possiblity ...

there's far too many unanswered questions and Monika Dannermann's story has ALWAYS been pretty hard to take seriously...too many lies imo

In any case , It makes me feel sad that Jimi Hendrix with all his amazing talent, wasted it on drugs and booze ...his life may have went in a different direction ..:( even with that slimeball Jeffreys..he could have taken more control over his life and his career...

R.I.P. Jimi ...

You're welcome Astrid and glad that you found it interesting. I discovered the documentry a while back and was somewhat shocked being I never considered the possibility of Jimi being murdered.

I read one book on the Lennon asssassination and have read on a few websites where some people feel that the doorman at the Dakota was the one who shot him which I'm not quite sold on. Though the idea of Mark David Chapman being "programmed" I think is a possibility considering that it's a fact the CIA were doing mind control experiments from the 50's thru the 70's and attempting to create programmed assassins. Along with taking into considerstion how threatened the goverment felt by Lennon kind of makes you wonder. Also the connection between Chapman and John Hinckley, Jr is somewhat chilling.

I would recommend the book "The Covert War Against Rock" by Alex Constantine and wish a documentry would be made of it.

I never knew he was even involved with The Black Panthers but that would certainly put Jimi in bad taste with the goverment at that time...they were extremely paranoid about communism at that time . especially Nixon ...

I think with that doc that Hawk posted .there certainly is some fowl play involved..either mafia/goverment ..evil mangers ..stupid girlfriends {Monika /Devin}somebody KNOWS what really happened and they are prob all dead..

someone used Hendrix's vices {drugs/booze/women} to cover up the truth ,against him. I mean I not talking too much mystical things but ...

If he had control of himself better..his life may not have taking the detour it did :(

Poor Jimi ..

I've been deeply researching this for the last 2 years and I can assure you with 100% certainty Jimi Hendrix was murdered.

For those who say Jimi took sleeping pills then drank too much wine and choked, they aren't paying attention to the forensic data recorded at his autopsy. Jimi only had a 5mg/100ml blood alcohol content. Meanwhile Dr Bannister suctioned what he considered to be "bottles worth" of wine from Jimi's lungs and stomach at the emergency room. Furthermore Jimi's clothes were soaked in pure wine and Dr Bannister described "at least a 1/2 pint of wine soaking his hair alone". Since Jimi was laying with his head on a pillow it would have been impossible for any pure wine to flow against gravity and up and into his hair. It got there when Jimi was forcefully drowned with wine while knocked-out on a near fatal dose of Vesparax barbiturate.

The 5mg/100ml blood alcohol content automatically conflicts with the volume of wine Dr Bannister witnessed inside Jimi. Since Jimi had a 3.9mg % of blood barbiturate content at his autopsy that means he had to have ingested the Vesparax for about two hours to reach that level. Since 9 Vesparax was a borderline lethal dose according to the manufacturer this means Jimi had to be unconscious for at least the last half hour of that ingestion period. If Jimi had drank the wine on his own he would have to had drank it while he was still conscious. I seriously doubt that Jimi would have guzzled several bottles of wine after taking what he had to know to be a high dose of sleeping pills. Jimi was too smart to do that. So any "innocent" description of Jimi administering the wine into himself would have to include a wine absorption period of at least a half hour as the barbiturate forensics prove. The 5mg/100ml blood alcohol content recorded at the autopsy disallows such an event and shows that Jimi expired shortly after having bottles of wine introduced into his lungs. This is, absolutely, forensic proof of murder captured at the autopsy that the British Government ignored. You can't get around it and any innocent explanation for the wine requires a much higher blood alcohol content.

^^I've never delved into the circumstances surrounding Jimi's death, just always assumed it was due to his drug/alcohol abuse. After all he used to take LSD before going on stage among other things.

Still you make an interesting case for a conspiracy and cover-up Buster.

Well written and thought out post.:cheers2

I think it's court room level proof that can't be refuted.

In the late 80's Chas Chandler was on a British talk show and said off camera "Anyone who speaks of the real way Jimi died will have his head blown-off".

Pretty clear, eh?

i saw a show on this and i wouldn't be surprized if it did happen that way. apparently there was around half a bottle of wine soaked into jimi's hair as well. so it looks like he was being forced the stuff.
