Just wanted top post this classic!! Anyone else remember this tune!

Pretty big in my day growin' up. Always cranked it when it came on the radio!

Yeah, I remember it..it was the first punk rock song I ever heard ..my oldest brother used to listen to this weird, spacey, underground station that play stuff like Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind and punk rock..I heard it on that a few times and it always stuck in my head because of the suicides, ODs and stuff in the lyrics ....

Yeah I think I was like 13 or 14...the lyrics were disturbing to me then...but at a young age it was an eye opener for sure. Real life stuff..and the song was so bitchin'.

I was about 9 or 10 I think and it was probably a couple years old by then.

The station didn't last too long but it was sure a weird mix of stuff..I remember it being a very strange song to me at that time..really sounded punky in those days, now musically it seems a bit tame. To me anyway...

I just looked it up and it is from 1980 so it probably was new when I first heard it but I am not really positive how old a was when I heard it...
but that would have made me 9 years old when it was first released.
