Owl loved to rest quietly whilst no one was watching. Sitting on a fence one day,
he was surprised when suddenly a kangaroo ran close by.

The style of Crest has been compared to that of Dire Straits, in part because Anderson no longer had the vocal range he once possessed (the result of recent throat surgery). Tull's frank treatment of sexuality was unabated, however. The album contains the popular live song "Budapest", which depicts a backstage scene with a shy local female stagehand.

^^I saw Tull a couple years after Broadsword & The Beast came out, and Ian's voice was showing signs of wear back then but he did surprise me on TAAB II, either with studio magic/overdubs or he can still sing in the right enviroment.

I never got your Dire Straits reference until you explained it 2LT, wouldn't be the first time something went over my head.:)

Hi!
I'm a massive fan of Jethro Tull and Stand Up is my favourite album. I have every album they've released and there's no doubt that Stand Up is a masterpiece. It also has my best loved track of theirs: We used to know. That will be played at my funeral. I first saw them live at Hammersmith Odeon in 1978, during the Bursting Out tour. The first album I bought of theirs was: Minstrel in the Gallery after hearing it for the first time at a cinema during an interval. I didn't think much of it at first but a few plays became one of my favourites, although not as good as Stand Up!. I understand that you are a big fan of Blue Oyster Cult too, well I can tell you that they are my all time favourite band. I have everything they've released and I have seen them live many times. I have met Buck, shaken hands and had my photo taken with him. He's just the greatest guitarist of all and a really great person. I had to tell him that Secret Treaties is their greatest album and my favourite track of theirs is without a doubt: The Vigil. He said that I had a made a great choice!. The best live band that I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds, and definitely the most underrated band in history. Like Eric Bloom said once: We are a small wedge of a pizza, but the most tasty. Nobody can argue with that!
