Tull's early stuff is their best, but I like Crest Of A Knave and think it's a very good record. "A" I have always considered more of an Anderson solo effort than a band album.

Is Abrahams physically recovered from his illness now? Not sure you want to revisit the past anyway, their work together was so good anything they did now might be a let down.

I cannot remember what the situation is with Abrahams. I would settle for the return of Eddie Jobson, as he promises much and releases little.

I noticed on the Tull site that Opahle (if that is how you spell it) was born in 1983, which is after the classic Tull era. He has worked with Greg Lake, who always seems to hire gifted musicians.

You are right, he has gotten really old KH.

That looks serious, I hope he is okay. I was recently listening to A Musical Evening With The Mick Abrahams Band and it reminded me of how good he was/is. I always liked the first two Blodwyn Pig albums, especially Getting to This and See My Way. He formed a band called This Was, with an album entitled This is This Was Live (2001). I have never heard the album, it is quite rare, but I would imagine it to be good.
