Indigenous / The Acoustic Sessions

Even though Mato Nanji`s siblings have all left the band Mato has decided to continue to use the band`s name Indigenous, he was the primary singer, song writer and lead guitarist, Mato is the sound of Indigenous. The Acoustic Sessions is just like it sounds, it`s acoustic versions of songs that span Mato`s 13 year career with the exception of "You Got It", a Traveling Wilburys cover.

This sounds like a cool album ...

When I saw Eric Johnson in 2007 Mato Nanji (as Indigenous) opened and performed an all acoustic set. Aside from being ecstatic that an opening act at a show I was attending wasn't completely horrid as usual, I was fairly impressed with and genuinely enjoyed the music.
