Yeah, how about those whacky covers...one didn't know which one they had until the paper came off...very cool. Did you try using water on yours?? I did a little bit on mine cause I couldn't help it....turned pink a bit,then blue...never came off and I was all

I think I bought another one and got a different cover.

Yes, those covers were quite cool then, imo! Some people seemed to be more interested with which cover they got when the album was removed from the paper bag. I'll say that was both a cool idea for the marketing department in the 70's, and also did add some further appeal to every new album purchase. I wonder what happened to some of those people, surely they're ideas where cool, impressive and possibly not to costly to produce those album covers and jackets. Maybe the record labels phased those idealers out, as well as the possibility for interesting and appealing CD booklets within todays market?

I'm guilty of the same, MP! Once I heard about the water-changing jacket, I just had to experience the coolness of it, first hand! I'm somewhat surprised that those original editions of ITTOD aren't more of a collectors item, but maybe they are and I'm not aware of that?
