Harry Cody from "Shotgun Messiah" a Finnish band was a impressive shredder. Their 1989 debut featured some of his best playing,

The band lead vocalist Zinny J. Zan had first started out in Europe with a band called "Kingpin" but wanted the band to make a go at it in the states. Given the time of their debut, Shotgun came in at the tail end of Glam Metal and pretty much suffered what most 80's bands did.
They tried their hand at Industrial, but finally called it quits..
