Yep that's me.
I was never too good at introducing myself but here goes.
My name's Jesse and I may not be the most well-versed in the music world but I've been quickly discovering a wide variety of amazing artists and I have NO one to discuss it with. So I hope this forum will open up new opportunities for me to discover more music!
I mostly listen to indie and alternative rock, progressive rock, art rock, some post-rock (just starting to get into that genre), some hard rock, post-hardcore, a little pop-punk, indie folk, a little metal, a little bit of electronic and generally anything experimental and interesting. I'm a bit all over the map.
My favorite era of music is probably from the early 2000's but I listen to some from the 90's as well.
Some favorite bands of mine: Coheed and Cambria, mewithoutYou, Radiohead, Thrice, Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, The Dear Hunter, Bon Iver, Primus, dredg, Showbread, System of a Down, Serj Tankian, Muse, The Flaming Lips, Swans, Listener, The Mars Volta, Husky In Denial, The Revere, Levi the Poet, Disturbed, Skillet, My Chemical Romance
Definitely a few more that I listen to but that's the ones off the top of my head that I listen to the most or used to listen to.
