thought there should be a thread to the great jazz keyboardist Herbie Hancock so here it is.

I LOVE Herbie Hancock. He has released so many great albums and tunes, but if you put a gun to my head, my favourite would be the very funky "Thrust". Phenomenal, timeless and with a wonderful artwork - needs to be seen (and heard) on vinyl!

This guy is cool with cherries on top!
think he started out very young with Byrd and Clark Terry.. hit the big tine with Miles and many others. His tribute to Joni Mitchell makes an ideal midnight mood. I met him in '80 at an all - nighter.....very friendly bloke.
Daft Punk must have combed this album dry!
