Oh, precious little darlings! Bet none of you are girls either...or chicks with dicks. That70'sGuy you are 64? A spanking? Well, that's a start! I guess I like to think the interest level with rock music in some ways grew with the rise of the internet usage with the public over the last twenty years and I think in some ways it did (for a little while) and in others it was systematically destroyed bit by bit as Napster and folks decided it was best to steal everything. How's that working out for everyone now that the world's best selling recording artists don't even record any more mere less release any new music in any manner whether it be singles, e.p.s. or l.p.s.? I can understand and value some things and maybe in the long run it won't be quite as bad but it sure sucks right now. Though it has been made clear to me that music will never sell again in physical format. I was told that it is gone and you will not get it back either.
I just wish that there could be great physical releases in the years to come of compilations and Super Deluxe Editions of previous released l.p.s. That seems to be less and less the case and possiblity as the sweet ass passage of time takes place. Of course I'm not sure how well they ever really sold either as record stores never liked multi-disc sets since they cut into sales. That was two c.d.s or more! Mere less box sets full of discs! Sounds like with the rare exception they did not sell well enough for the most part. The public are missing out on so much. Espcially considering they were never fully aware of such great unreleased material of the songs they supposedly loved so much but not enough to pay for in the long run...
