Darn, if I would have known this I would have ran out and bought an album from my local record store "the exchange" lol.

It was hard to miss, but then again, not everyone reads music magazines and visits music sites several times a day. We didn't talk much about it here, compared to last time. I think we'll put some more focus on it next time, so that nobody forgets or misses out!

I didn't go out yesterday and I don't feel bad about it. I support my local record stores continuously, so I don't need a specific day to show my support. As for special releases, there's a few I'm interested in, among others the vinyl release of Emmylou Harris' "Wrecking Ball", but I seriously doubt any of the stores here got it and if they did, I'll surely find a copy next week. If not, there's always eBay.

Last year I was so stressed about getting Blackberry Smoke's RSD release, only to find hundreds of copies of it online the next day.

Doesn't matter anyway if you weren't aware of it. I think record store day shouldn't be put on a specific day as I believe it should be every day.
