Yes, a Happy 2014!

We drove back from D.C. yesterday morning, so we were back in time to walk down to Times Square last night to see the traditional Ball Drop at midnight (look it up if you don’t know what that is!) – though there were so many people there that I doubt we were even within about 3 city blocks of it at midnight, the crowd estimate for last night was around 1.2 million people in Times Square, which I can quite believe.

Hope your 2014 is prosperous and peaceful, and I hope all your New Year's resolutions work out! .... I have made a few, and so far so good, though it's only been 10 hours!
