Preston? I live 25 minutes away and wouldn't go there even then, never mind travelling across the Atlantic!

Enjoy the rest anyway, the Lakes in particular are very nice, as is Wales, depending on where you go!

The man I love lives there But he is a London area native..he feels as you do but it a place to live and work for him.

Yes I went to The Lakes, Blackpool, Wales {porthmadog /conwy castle all the way up the tip of Wales..) It was fab ! Of course hit Liverpool .

Amazing place , Britian ..I got watch the Euro2012 Italy v/s England ..sadly England didn't win but the excitement of the games and pending London Olympics ..made being there even more brilliant.

I saw two Welsh castles and Laurel and Hardy's museum in Ulverston , Lakes area..breathtaking sea there..as well as the entire area

Manchester was lovely..we went a choc cafe in Ramsbottom lol I STILL giggle at that name ...

it was excellent all around..I have loads of photos and memories ..

now Pete will be here in October for the Yank tour of New England..4 months .. but I hope it goes fast
