cant really compare the two, they come from different eras. Also, it's hard to compare two bassists when clearly one has influenced the other, whether directly or indirectly. Geddy came from the early 70's prog-rock era where everyone idolized Chris Squire and his million-notes-per-minute style was highly emulated.
