hello.
this place looks good here, hope it is.
i live on the sunshine coast, qld.
started getting into music, british glam rock, around 1971.
slade were the first band i got into in a serious.
first album i had was in fact 'slade alive.'
once the first queen lp came out i became hooked on the band for their entire career. i like almost all their stuff but my favourite period is the early heavy rock era.
since queen are no more i've been into the texas power trio, 'king's x.' they were amazing and quite unique for a number of years. still going but like every band their peak seems to come and go very quickly.
i forgot about old jeff beck. he's my favourite guitarist and is responsible for my all-time favourite guitar solo.
some other bands i really got into:
thin lizzy
ufo
cocteau twins.
lynyrd skynyrd
styx
deep purple
led zeppelin
pink floyd.
camel.
early aerosmith.
