You are like an encyclopedia of the vinyl era of some of the legends of British music Jeffrey. I like the Mk II line-up of FM more myself, I never even knew who Peter Green was until years after buying FM's white album with Stevie, Christine and Lindsay joining John and Mick.

I am sure you will enjoy it Foxhound there are some pearler tracks on it.![]()

6 Shillings and 9 Pence...what is that in dollars?
The cost of an average vinyl record in the late 70's was about $5.00, our currency was higher than the U.S. dollar back then.

Only reference to costs in the 60's was from How much did records (vinyl) cost in the 1960s? - Yahoo! UK & Ireland AnswersIn dear old fashioned £/shillings/pence in the 60's before decimalisation. Now the price per record was from memory so I could be wrong. Think I'll have to look that one up and get back to you![]()
Thanks Jeffrey, $3.49 sounds about right for the 60's.
40p = 8 shillings
How many shillings in one pound?
And what is a Guinea or Sovereign while we are talking about money?
