I don't believe anyone has mention the keyboardist from the Zombies. Just listen to "Time of the Season" and you will understand why I'm a fan.

Look back at earlier posts and you'll see that youtube video already posted.

That does have great keyboard play.

Nicky Hopkins should be mentioned. He played the piano on such tracks as She's a Rainbow from "Their Satanic Majesties Request" by the Rolling Stones. He was then a member of the original Jeff Beck Group.

Keith Emerson! Check him out playing Bach backwards! It's pretty awesome.

Another figure who was good at Mellotron, Harpsichord, Organ & Piano is Maurice Gibb from The Bee Gees! :D
So that's what I hear on The Bee Gee's "Nights On Broadway"!

Such a unique pre-Disco sound for them, and a great song.

Franz Liszt was the best piano player ever :D, J.S. Bach the greatest organist ever, but as far as keyboards for rock music, I agree Rick Wakeman gets my vote, Keith Emerson is right up there as well.

Sh*t, we.ve got in common than meets the proverbial rye :):):)......LISZT fan here 2:)
