Evan Bliss and the Welchers

One of the best current D.C. (my hometown) indie bands. They have a great vocalist and an amazing multi instrumentist who can play every thing from the flute, sax, harmonica, and keys. Check their myspace page or u can find them on youtube. For all you indie heads out there D.C. has a great overall scene and if u are ever in the area u should check out a club called the Black Cat.

They sound pretty good in the studio, Greg. The live stuff isn't as good, but that is the way that "live" can be sometimes, right

Sounds kinda like Manic Street Preachers. The voice is similar if a bit lower imo.
