This is the first one of these I have voted for where I can't decide at all, I think I better abstain! I suppose Sandman has stood the test of time better than Iron Man, it's pretty universally recognised even by people who may not be into metal, but then Iron Man was one of the 3 or 4 epic tracks on the first Sabbath album (Paranoid) that announced that they had truly arrived as a force in music (the first Sabbath album was IMO pretty average, poorly produced) I suppose Metallica owe more to Sabbath than Sabbath owe to Metallica in the scheme of things. OK, I'll go for Sandman, but I love them both.
