^^High praise indeed Cosmic. So "American Gothic" is the Ackles album Taupin helped write songs for? Wouldn't be the first record to slip by unnoticed, many gems suffer the same fate both in the old days and now.

Been waiting, I dunno, 35 years??... for Elton to really get back to basics, just him sat at the piano with some great songs like with the great Empty Sky and Tumbleweed Connection and Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player records, and a few others...for me he pretty much owned the early to mid 1970's as a consistently brilliant singer-songwriter, so this ought to be special, especially with Taupin's involvement. He has made some horrific records in the past couple of decades, I actually preferred his stuff when he was a self-confessed drunk and a junkie back in the 70's!!!!!...
