[Sweaty]

Well another festival is over and I can say I was there, if only for the Saturday
Bands I saw were:

Mr Big (not bad but a bit too wimpy for me)

Clutch, they were excellent !!!

Twisted Sister, they were on top form.

The Dio Disciples, these were topper but a short set I thought, a little rushed but good tribute to the late great Ronnie (all ex members of Dio except for Toby from Little Angels)

Cheap Trick, great band and better than last time I saw them.

Alice Cooper, what a show man, top banana and a winner in my house.

Great sound from the 2nd stage and I wonder why Alice didn't top the main stage ???

anyone else go???

A little far for me to reach Sweaty, but I would have enjoyed Alice and Cheap Trick for sure of the ones you listed.

I always thought Toby from Little Angels had a cracking voice - saw them in Sheffield years ago, great concert!

The beer was ok if you went to Hobgoblin tent or Guinness tent but at £4 a pop I don't think so, anyway I had had a skin full the night before so my friend Jack came with me in my hip flask

Agreed, I gave the chap on the gate a decoy as I took two with me, he stopped me and emptied one, didn't give me a chance to drink it, what a hip

Cant say Ive seen any of these bands " live" Sweaty. I always hear good reports about Alice Cooper. Good to hear you had a cracking weekend....even though the weather was lousy....there again it doesnt rain in the beertent
