On the radio over here in England they do a "Desert Island Discs" slot where a guest is invited to choose 8 albums, a book and one luxury item to take with them to a lonely shore. In the picks we'll have 10 albums, a book and 5 Ales or Wines of your choice. :cheers2

Seriously it's a difficult one, I really don't know, I don't particularly have a favourite book. Ok, maybe, The Haunted by Robert Curran.

Drinks: I'll take a Banana Bread Beer, a nice bottle of red wine (not fussed on type), Cu Dhub single malt whisky, a bottle of cognac and a moderate glug of cider :)

10 Albums, in no particular order:

Genesis - Abacab
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Sparks - Indiscreet
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Billy Joel - The Stranger
Ric Ocasek - Beatitude
Pat Benatar - In the Heat of the Night
Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow
Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill
The Doors - s/t

I almost forgot about books. Just hook me up with an 800-page psychology text and I'll be good to go.

As for the 5 wines, I'm not up on alcohol. ;D But if I could exist on apple juice I'd rot my esophagus to death with it.
