How 'bout Pat Travers cover of Statesboro Blues. Also, I believe Boom Boom Out Go The Lights is a cover and there's no denying that one.

There is a version of Boom Boom by Little Walter. I'm not sure if it is THE original version, but I believe it predates Pat Travers.

And speaking of SRV doing Little Wing, there is a great video that was made for that song. Stevie was long gone, so the video features clips, some really vintage, of a lot of great guitarists, the bul of which are legendary bluesman. If you have never seen it, it is really cool to watch, and pick out the players, and there are also a number of segments from the inside of the Fender factory.:grinthumb

Oddly enough the first time I heard Shapes Of Things was Gary Moore's cover on Victim's Of The Future. I remember seeing a video on MTV for it (those were the days). It took me a while to appreciate the Yardbirds original version.

Also, People Get Ready by Jeff Beck And Rod Stewart from Beck's Flash album is great.

Actually I think he wrote it.

BTW, speaking of Jackson Browne, "Boulevard" has one of the coolest opening riffs. Not so much the riff but the guitar tone is supreme.

Blackfoot's version of Spirit's I Got A Line On You is really good from the Strikes album.
