Random idea of a thread I thought I would post.
Basically just compile an album from either your favourite year of music, favourite decade, favourite sub-genre, or also your birth year etc. Albums must be 10 songs. You can do as many compiled albums as you wish.
Ill get back to this with a thought out couple of lists.

Ill go for one from my birth year of 1986. This should be fun since 86 was a pretty damn good year for metal and rock.

1. Who Made Who - Ac/dc
2. Alexander The Great - Iron Maiden
3. Lightning Strikes - Ozzy Osbourne
4. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) - Metallica
5. Best of Both Worlds - Van Halen
6. Rock You All Around The World - Judas Priest
7. Heaven is Hell - Accept
8. Walk In The Shadows - Queensryche
9. Devil's Island - Megadeth
10. Raining Blood - Slayer

Best of 1967 -

1. Somebody to Love by Jefferson Airplane
2. Sure Nuff 'N Yes I Do by Captain Beefheart
3. All Along the Watchtower by Bob Dylan
4. So Long, Marianne by Leonard Cohen
5. Venus in Furs by the Velvet Underground
6. Out of Time by the Rolling Stones
7. Waterloo Sunset by the Kinks
8. Bold As Love by the Jimi Hendrix Experience
9. You Set the Scene by Love
10. A Day in the Life by the Beatles

It's tough narrowing it down to ten - I had to cut Frank Zappa, the Doors, Pink Floyd, and Moby Grape.
