I'm gonna shock the hell out of everyone and vote The Chain

Of course I own everything by the Beatles, including solo works, and selected Fleetwood Macs...but I have to be honest here. I never saw the CRAZY appeal with Come Together...I got burnt out on it over time with the Aerosmith version and The Beatles original being played back to back on FM radio...as well as I think it's my least favorite off of Abbey Road.

Now that isn't to say I skip it...I do love the song in context with the rest of the album (as I play CD's straight through) and I love the way Something follows. It works well as a lead off track.

But in the end...there are much better songs off Abbey Road...and The Chain is a better song in my opinion than Come Together as well.

"The Chain" the live version from their comeback tour/show The Dance" is what introduced me to Fleetwood Mac and I still love that track. I prefer the Aerosmith cover of "Come Together" personally. It has more oomph! For me "The Chain" is definitely my favorite of the two. It's probably Fleetwood's most rockin' song!

I'll take "The Chain" - one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs - over a mediocre ( by comparison) Beatles song.
