The Boss is one of the high profile artists to have a work inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2012.
It’s been quite a day for The Boss. After earlier announcing his new album and tour next year, Bruce Springsteen is also become one of the artists who will have a classic recording inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Springsteen’s Born In The USA will join the likes of Born To Run in the honourable mentions he already has in the archive. In 2012, other inductees will be Tina Turner’s What’s Love Got To Do With It, Gloria Gaynor with I Will Survive and The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street album.
Also being honoured are Martin Luther King Jr’s I Have A Dream speech, Bill Cosby’s I Started Out As A Child comedy album and The Anthology of Folk Music.
The Grammy Hall of Fame was set up in 1973 and as so far recognised the iconic status of over 900 titles.
