Brain Capers vs Queen

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Mott The Hoople but "Brain Capers" is by a wide margin my least favorite album from them. Queen's debut however shows off just how well they could rock.

The first Queen album is off the hook

Liar, Jesus, Keep Yourself Alive, Great King Rat...we also get a teaser of Seven Seas Of Rhye...wich I've never quite understood why this was.

Was it unfinished? Or was it sort of like a preview of next week's show sort of concept...since it appeared in it's entirety on Queen II.

"Seven Seas of Rhye" was unfinished for their first album but the band revisited it and finished it up for "Queen II" because they had more time to do it the way they wanted to.

Queen. Brain Capers is an excellent album as well. Hard rocking. Just behind Mott.
