Stack Waddy are known by John Peel, who signed them to his own Dandelion record label. Peel described them as "very interesting and nice people" and performed regularly in John Peel's Sessions.
Second album "Bugger Off" is sort of live album, as all songs were recorded at first take. As they were asked to do overdubs the response was simply bugger off! Very 'eavy, very bluesy.

Heard of them before, but never bothered paying them any attention...not the best band name I have to say...:D

Almost everything John Peel touched was gold, he has to rate among the most influential people in English rock music history.

I hadn't heard of them either. Just listened to them on the "Rate The Song Above You" thread - Nololob's song. Loved it :grinthumb Also think the title of their album "Bugger Off" is a top title!!! :heheh:
