Blake Shelton




Blake Shelton plucked his big break in country music from NBC's "The Voice". He released his first single in 2001, "Austin", which brought him even more attention nation wide. He was picked up by Giant Records and released his S/T debut album, and the rest is country pop history.

I would consider Blake to be a very lucky man.....since he is also married to another country music pop diva, Miranda Lambert.

His newest album "Red River Blue" has the #1 hit "Honey Bee" which had over 138,000 downloads in the first week of the single's release and was certified Gold after 7 weeks.....setting a new record for any male country singer.

Can I just say "Yum!!"? I do remember seeing him on "The Voice" but I'll say that many of his songs speak for themselves.

A favorite song, and he does it justice....

I love, Love, LOVE this song by Blake. I think I posted it in the country recs thread not too long ago. It's so cute. I like country when I'm in an easygoing mood.

I read that......I guess they are going to release the movie soundtrack in September, a full month before the movie hits theaters. I am sure someone will upload Blake's cover of Footloose on Youtube soon
