Back in March, we reported that Black Sabbath were looking to conclude their career together with a final concert in their hometown of Birmingham, England, and they’ve turned that into a reality. The group have announced that its last-ever concert will be on Feb. 4, 2017 at Birmingham’s Genting Arena.

A note on Black Sabbath’s Facebook page reads, “This will be Black Sabbath’s last show on THE END tour meaning this is the FINAL SHOW EVER!!” They are also booked into the Genting Arena on Feb. 2.

At a press conference in Birmingham, guitarist Tony Iommi said that “it would be nice to think it could finish back where it all started – in Birmingham. When we are home where we started, we have always found it a bit nerve-wracking, but Birmingham means such a lot to us.”

Tickets for both nights will be available to the general public at Live Nation U.K. on June 17 at 9AM local time, with a pre-sale for Live Nation members beginning on June 16 at 9AM.

Black Sabbath are currently touring Europe, where they will be through July 12. In August, they will begin a month of dates in the U.S., beginning Aug. 17 at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y., and concluding on Sept. 24 at the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore, Calif. They will say goodbye to Latin America in November, and, in the weeks leading up to the Birmingham shows, will play other cities in the U.K. and Ireland.
