Black Pistol Fire

Brand spanking new Austin band coming out with their debut album this week. They play catchy garage blues numbers with the prerequisite punk and metal rearing up here and there. I think the bluesier side of White Stripes, and early Black Keys are the best comparisons. The singer reminds me a little of Jack White and the guy from Wolfmother. There are a few real gems on the album, although it does have some middle of the road numbers.
