Fans can expect a Rolling Stones reunion in London, as Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor have been confirmed as special guests for both the Nov. 25 and Nov. 29 shows at the O2 Arena. The dates are the first on the bands 50 and Counting tour, which includes shows in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Newark, N.J. before year’s end.

A statement at the band’s website confirms that both Taylor and Wyman will be performing with Mick Jagger and company for the first time in over 20 years. There will be no opening act for the 8PM show, with the band expected to play for over two hours.

All announced shows are sold out, but the band says a limited amount of tickets will be released for the London shows. The Stones are expected to focus on their hits, while playing new songs from their new ‘Grrr!’ album. Recently they released a video for their new single ‘Doom and Gloom.’

That's great news!! :woot:

Nice to see Mick and Bill back...and to be honest I really miss Bill in the band. Too bad he wasn't back full time, but I'll take it.

Great to see the old band back together again, I am surprised Mick Taylor agreed to show up.

Attention Black Sabbath...that's how you do a REUNION gig, with the original(Or as close to it as you can get) line-up. Most likely this was arranged by Jagger and Richards personally, not through "their people".

Sadly going to miss this, I've been to the new arena in Brooklyn a couple of times, and it's a beauty, but it's one show in an 18,000 seater arena, and they could probably have sold it out 100 times over with the ticket demand. I'm glad to see Bill Wyman playing again with Mick and Keith and Charlie, less interested in Mick Taylor to be honest who, like Ronnie Woods, was never a Stones 'original'. Sad how nobody ever mentions Darryl Jones, who has been playing bass guitar with the Stones now for 10 years since Wyman left.

Though you can't deny he was also the driving force during the golden Stones era.

Yeah I agree, but I just don't see him as a Stones legend like the other guys, though for sure some of their best ever records were made with Mick Taylor...Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile.
