^^^Most of those bands plus a lot more have been covered in the Obscure Heavy Psych/Heavy Rock/Proto-Metal thread. A thread well worth checking out if you're into those types of bands you mentioned.

I don't know if this band is forgotten in your neck of the woods but I never hear any Utopia around here anymore.

Here you go Truckin. Caravan, Set Me Free and You Make Me Cray from Adventures In Utopia. Good call. I haven't played that in years, it's on now.:grinthumb

How about Black Oak Arkansas?

I do have to take issue with some of these though. Stealers Wheel, Ozark Moutain, I can certainly agree with, BUt Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, ELO, Cheap Trick, Foreigner...I don't think so. These bands are the face of the 70's. On the classic rock stations here in the Northeast they are very alive and well, not forgotten (maybe even a bit overplayed), and are always on VH1 classic if anyone gets that station.

Agree with you. Some of these bands people are mentioning are not forgotten. They are the staples of Classic Rock stations where I live too but those stations are becoming history here for some reason. That's why I don't listen to the radio any more.
