One of my favorite 'forgotten bands' was Little Feat,,,,who were one of Jimmy Pages favorites btw.
KInd of an alternate version of the Allman Bros with Lowell George on guitar.

I have half a dozen of their albums - cannot recommend them highly enough.

Guided and produced by a certain William Perks (Bill Wyman.) this bands five albums born from the ashes of The End group... seem forgotten and destined for the "Anoraks Only" dept...
Tucky Buzzard - You're All Alone.

I can't quite remember, but I think I saw these support Trapeze... I do remember they began in Plymouth... maybe I saw them there when I was too young to be in a licenced premises?
The original band I prefer - the second line-up was connected to Sky (I think?)
Clown - Lord Of The Ringside.

These were from Texas (obvs!)... but the association back then associated itself with my alma mater- which was Corpus Christi - this band alas only did one studio offering... but there is a CD out there with added demos etc... for the true Anorak.
Corpus - Creation A Child.

I first heard this at a mates house yonkers ago and was struck at how 'Heep' it sounded, years later I aqquired a German CD copy.. fine early 70s band that splintered..... into Nektar and Cupids Inspiration.
Still Life - People In Black.
