Turns out this is great channel. Every title I clicked on was pretty damn good. A few of the ones I listened to (and downloaded).
This band initially met working on road construction together... then hot footed it back to Scotland and formed : Beggars Opera- Raymonds Road.
I have developed a liking in recent months for BRINSLEY SCHWARZ first album in particular from late 1970 which sounds like a cross between CS&N and some of Brinsley Schwarz original country rock songs. 5 cd albums from BRINSLEY SCHWARZ- http://alllossless.net/uploads/posts/2015-07/1437157799_folder.jpg
Totally agree Nai I only really picked up on them about a year ago although I had heard of the name Brinsley Schwarz for many years and they always seemed to ne lumped in with 'pub rock' bands.
Yep, Silver Pistol was the first album I bought for 90p second hand! They have a great DNA as they were formed from.. I think?... kippington Lodge? Check out Ian Gomm's solo stuff. ( my LP cover is a bit battered.)
If the albums are similar to this video, I love it. The organ is awesome. Gonna try check out more their music
